Somewhat of a hidden gem!
Great rooms, good price also. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to Duval Street. Definitely a safe area. Pool was nice. Breakfast was good too. Overall we really enjoyed it and will return again!

Not ready for prime time
The hotel is in the process of upgrading and renovating some of the rooms, so it is an ongoing process. It's important to check out the room you are assigned immediately to make sure it is satisfactory. The room we were given initially was very small with absolutely no furniture other than a bed and two small night stands. Nowhere to put your clothing other than a cubbyhole closet with no door, with a wire shelf that was coming off the wall, and which held the air conditioning unit in the rear. Not nearly worth the rate charged in a competitive Key West environment. We insisted on another room which turned out to be somewhat larger and had a dresser and small sofa. The bigger issue for this hotel is the front desk person, who is the first person you see when you check in and the last person at check out- the face of the place. The person on duty there at that's time can use some work on people skills. He came across as uncaring and unsympathetic to our concerns, and when we had some billing issues at check out, we came away feeling as if we were bothering him by asking for some clarification. The hotel is adequate for a short stay beach holiday, the location is good, the breakfasts are fine, If you are looking for first class accommodations with updated rooms, keep looking. Maybe they will get there someday.
