Our stay was nice. Room was pleasant with a decent size and a full bathtub. Also this place is quiet on weeknights, friday night stay was pretty annoying. It might have been because of the bar restaurant 2 doors away. Breakfast included coffee juices cereal yogurt and bread with choices of jams. The location was pretty far walk from the train station so we took a taxi boat when we left. 70 euro at the time for one way. If you're travelling with luggages or kids i don't recommend walking to find this place. The bridges to cross are not luggage friendly. Before coming to find this place make sure to follow the directions or get a good map of venice or else you will get lost.

Great hospitality from a small, nice hotel
We stayed the last night of our visit to Italy before traveling to rest of Europe. Very small hotel, in a small alley, but very big heart of service desk personnel, especially the older Italian gentleman. True Italian hospitality with great tips and useful advice. Breakfast was basic, but we were not expecting much more. Location is great, since it is very close to St. Marks Square. But as anyone who has gone to Venice will attest you can get lost easily after leaving this hotel, or any hotel in Venice. Keep a large detailed map when you step out.

Great Location & Service
Quaint little hotel in the heart of Venice. The location is equally distant and convenient to both St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. The staff is very helpful. The desk wasn't open when we needed to meet our train for a day trip, but they held our bags and allowed us to pay our city tax when we returned. They emailed us directions and given how confusing the streets of Venice can be, was a nice gesture. Be prepared, the shower is very small and requires you enclose yourself with an accordion door, but the room was clean and well maintained.

NICE HOTEL AND LOCATION
One of the best smaller hotels we have ever stayed in. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was centrally located --5 minutes from San Marco. It is a boutique hotel and we had room on the third floor which was stunning and overlooked the tile roof tops and the church steeples. Good Breakfast and its location was at the end of the street with a canal access. So the nights were quiet , even though the world cup was on at every local bar and café. My suggestion to anyone who has never been to Venice is get a real good map. There are so many streets and your first 24-48 hours there is like working a maze. If I had one complaint it is that the direction from the water ferry stand at San Marco to the hotel were not that good and had us turning in circles for 20 minutes --so they could do a better job of getting you from the drop off to the hotel , especially after crossing San Marco square. Also learn how to use the water ferry --not the water taxis --they are efficient and will get you almost anywhere and also an extended ride will give you very good overview of the city from the water side.. Finally book a guided tour. Getting into the top sites like San Marco or the Dumo can be challenging . The tours are not only informative you by pass the lines.--

Great hotel smack between rialto and st marks!
Hotel was great. Good location. The guy at the front desk was fantastic. He gave us great non tourist advice. Only issue we had is that our room while very nice didn't have an elevator so dragging suitcases up 2 levels was quite a work out. That's my only gripe. Great room though and I recommend this hotel.
