We booked this hotel in an effort to find a quiet establishment close to the beach and to town, something Italian. L'Approdo certainly did the trick for us, nice sized room, comfy bed and good shower. Simple but fabulous breakfast with cold meats, cheese, croissants, fruit juice and much coffee / tea as you can drink. Right on the beach with its own good restaurant but close to a gellateria, tobacco shop (coffee/sandwiches etc), two beaches, a couple more restaurants, limoncello producer and right on the marina. A lift took you up the cliff to town a 10 minute walk away - a half hour walk and you are in the centre of Sorrento.
Tonino and Anna looked after us so well and helped to make the stay very enjoyable. It's not the ritz but then it's a good Italian b&b that w would whole heartedly recommend.
