Casa di Amy is great!
We stayed for 2 days a Casa Di Amy. The owners are lovely people and very helpful! The rooms are small, but comfortable-and we really did not spend much time in them. There was a continental breakfast that was great. We were walking distance to the Coliseum, Forum, Santa Maria Maggiore and much more.

Convenient and clean
We stayed for 1 day only. The owner was extremely nice and very helpful. The breakfast was very good. We liked that it was only a few blocks from Termini. I would stay there again

$80 for a futon, and charged twice by the hotel.
Bad: This hotel is misrepresenting itself on Hotels.com. La Casa di Amy put us in the kitchen, on a fold-out futon couch. Because of this, there was no longer a breakfast room, and no longer a true breakfast. There were a few small bites left in the room when we checked in. We drank the instant coffee and ate the fruit. We do not feel like we got what we paid for. The Rooms represented on this site appear to have real beds with real mattresses and some decor, but we were incredibly uncomfortable and could have paid a third of the cost to stay in a hostel and probably had a better nights sleep. It felt like a scam that we paid what we did for the room we got. I'm glad to see previous guests have had positive stays here, but we would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone we know. I certainly can't call this a "Bed & Breakfast." We have also just found out that we were charged twice by the hotel. When we checked in, the young man told us we pre-paid and we just owed the local city tax, he gave us a receipt that reflected the amount of the whole booking and indicated we paid the 7 euro tax in cash. When we checked out the next day the woman who was there INSISTED we did not pay the booking and told us we had to pay. Without international data to adequately confirm or deny, and in our rush to catch a train we paid. Now that we're home and looking over our credit card statement we had in fact prepaid the booking. Good: The man who checked us in was very friendly.
