It is a fantastic location. Very central and major transportation hub right outside of the door. Very accommodating and helpful staff. Great breakfast included. However, I would not stay in room 305 again. Bathroom is on separate level from the bed, so quite inconvenient. Also, that unit has a problem with aromas in the bathroom. Peeked in other units and they looked fantastic. If our room had of been as nice, I would give this place all "5"s.

The location was great as it's close to the Colosseum, roman forums and cat sanctuary) There were 2 major issues that I had though. Our bidet in our room (Room 305) had dried on urine splatter stains all over the bowl. We don't even use the bidet, but having to look at it was very unpleasant. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone did not work, so I had to go downstairs to request for someone to clean it. In addition, there was a very strong (mold?) odor coming from our shower. They came to clean it, but of course just plain cleaning isn't going to clear it. We were only staying 2 days and the smell wasn't noticeable when showering (although very prominent once we started going up the stairs to the bathroom), that we just dealt with it. We had to check out at 5:30am, but there was no one at the front desk. In a panic as we had to catch the bus, I ripped up a piece of paper from a notebook at the desk and put a note with 20 euros (hoping that was enough to cover it as that was all the euros we had left) to pay for city tax as we didn't have time to wait around for front desk to return. I had to run downstairs with the keycard to open the front gate (as we couldn't get out otherwise), run back upstairs to drop off the keycard so checking out was hectic. I was able to send them a message through though and they informed me that they were in the breakfast room setting up at that time.

Staff was very accommodating and wanted to make my stay as best as possible. The hotel gives a very authentic Italian experience with a great location in the center of Rome. High recommended especially for people who have been to Rome and know their way around.

Secret location close to everything
Secret hidden hotel in the heart of Rome. Walk to everything. Good free breakfast. No parking supplied but no need as we are not driving. With son but would be romantic stay if my wife were with me. Would stay here again. Fair price so overall a home run

Wonderful staff
We received excellent service from Mackey and Jano during our stay! Our room was clean and lovely, although at night it can be a bit noisy. Overall, great stay though and wonderful complimentary breakfast
