Poor 2.0
Bathroom not clean. TV and shower head were broken. A/C did not blow cool air. Will never stay here again.

great locationt location
Very helpful staff. Attentive and considerate. The bed sagged along the edge. Room, as usual for New York, was very small. Everything clean.

Fine place to stay in Times Square
Great location. Nice place. The AC was pretty loud. The internet was slow. Could have used a better TV service.

Poor 2.0
Worst hotel I’ve stayed in NY
I am extremely disatisfied with my stay at this hotel. The central AC in my unit wasn’t working and I called the front desk to alert them, and asked to be changed to a different room. The front desk employee told me hotel was sold out for the night, but that he would come up to try and fix the AC issue. He came up, very quickly, I will give him that. Reset the air a couple of times but wasn’t satisfactory. I then asked for a fan and he brought a heater and told me to use it in the “fan mode”. I was too tired at that point and just fell asleep. I woke up drenched in sweat. Other than that the hotel is very outdated. No closets on a $300+ per night hotel. The 4 people max elevator takes up to 10 minutes to get to your floor and take you to the lobby. I’m never staying at this hotel again.

Fair 4.0
Lackluster in every respect
Honestly this being anything higher than a two star hotel is surprising. Paid for King bed room and received Queen. When I called the desk told me that’s all they had. They would have left it at that until I said well would I get a refund on the difference then? Had to call the manager. Manager immedifiatley removed the three days resort fees ( resort fees for WHAT exactly?). The room is tiny but it’s NYC. The bathroom has a two inch set you have to navigate which was fun in the middle of the night. The mattress had a very obvious dip and the sheets are low quality. The carpeting looked old and if I had to guess had no padding underneath as you could feel every divot and crack and hole in the concrete underneath. I’m assuming they just bought an old building and renovated it cheaply. The faucet was not secure and knocked back and forth. The shower had one of those half glass partitions hotels seem to love but also had a dingy white liner hanging on rusty casters on the rod. You couldn’t shower without the curtain touching you. The outside of the building is nothing to write about and the construction on the hotel next door doesn’t help. The lobby is the one thing that is actually quite nice, with fish tanks and a cool lounge area. The elevator fits maybe three people sucking in their gut. I know this is NYC but I’ve never stayed at a hotel that was around $200 years hay was this bad. I felt like I was a step away from a hostel.
