Great hotel in the heart of Venice
Our stay was enjoyable. The room was as advertised and comfortable for the Italian standard at our price point. We had been in Italy for 8 days and this was our third city. We were on the 4th floor and still could hear some street noise but the most noise came from the neighboring room. The walls seemed paper thin and blocked next to no sound. But we never had a problem during the evening. Everyone was respectful of the hour and we had no troubles sleeping. One querk was the range in times we received our hand delivered breakfast. We requested 0800( the earliest available) and it’s came at 0730, 0745 and 0805. That being said the food was very good and we quickly came accustomed to having breakfast could me to us. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Venice. OH! the best part of our room was the excellent A/C. It was a welcomed oasis after a long day walking the city.

Listen to me - Do NOT stay here!!!
I wish there were a way to give 0 stars to this hotel. Please, don't be fooled by the location, this hotel is awful! First, we booked a room on, clearly indicating that we were traveling with our 16-year-old daughter. We paid for a room for 3 people, it was right on the reservation that we had printed out and with us. When we got there, they extorted another $250 out of us, because we had a third person. They said they wouldn't let us stay there unless we paid it. Since it was August in Venice, we had no other choice, and had to pay. Then, our room was horrible! The A/C was broken, and they refused to make repairs or change our room. We couldn't go in our room during the daytime, because it was 100 degrees in Venice while we were there. It was miserable even at night, and put a huge damper on our trip. Also, the water in the bathroom kept backing up. Every time we ran water chunks of black goo would come up out the drain and back up the sink and tub. We also asked them to fix this, and they refused. And, be warned - there is really no front desk. Someone is only there from about 11-4. After that, if you call (like to tell them that your A/C is broken) some cranky man starts screaming at you that the front desk is closed. There is absolutely no assistance, including with check-in, except for those hours. It was certainly the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. Please don't stay here and ruin your trip. Just please don't.

Rude host, faultless location
The location of the room was faultless and the view from the balcony was spot on! However, the room was so cold and the heating (when it actually worked) was so loud and so inconsistent (kept turning itself off) that we had to sleep in jumpers. It took us 20 minutes to check out as we couldn’t find the host and there was no box or anything to put the keys in so eventually gave up and handed the keys to the chef. Be aware of the city tax, on the website it states €1 per person per night however it ended up being €4 per person per night and when we question this to the host he did nothing more than shrug it off.

Polite staff average hotel fab location book suite
A small average hotel, not exactly the boutique some describe as. We were lucky to have booked the suite on the top floor with the private terrace. The owner should consider fairy lighting or any lighting and possibly a heater as we sat most evening and enjoyed a bottle of wine but it got so cold once the sun went down it was unusable. Shower was broken but gave a good bad pressure. Mini bar very over priced considering there’s a supermarket 20 meters away. Heating worked fine in the cold months. It’s no hotel Danieli but for price and location it’s just fine.
