Good value
Good value for the price. Excellent location, very close to tube stop on the circle line, which makes it easy to get around. Lots of nearby dining options. Room is small by American standards, but fine.

Go with another hotel in the area
We stayed her for 3 nights. The bed was not comfortable. There were only two pillows on the bed and they could not give us an extra one. Our room was next to the neighboring building where the Latvian social club meets and their evening singing, piano playing, and dancing was very loud in our room. Hallway noise and noise from neighboring rooms also seemed louder than normal. On the second day we came back and found the shower door was gone. When I called reception and asked about it I was told it had been taken away for repairs (hadn't noticed it was broken) and wouldn't be replaced until the next day. No apologies or attempts to make up for this inconvenience were made. The room and decor are dated. They do offer breakfast but it was the same stuff every day and not that great of a selection. The location is great - right by Hyde Park and two tube stations, but there are lots of other hotels in the area that would probably be nicer.

This is definitely an older hotel. The room was extremely hot and the fan just couldn't cool it down. The shower was ridiculously small. I have never seen a shower that small!

Very Good8.0
good location - terrible nigh clerk
The room was convenient to city sights, although road diversions did complicate things. Beds were tiny, even for singles, no air conditioning was uncomfortable and fan would not work without lights on, Day service was helpful and nice but male night clerk was one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. He was extremely rude and dismissive. Did not want to assist with ANY question, to the point I would not even try. Horrible customer service !! I would not return if he was there

Very pleased with Troy
We stayed here for 7 nights and are very satisfied with this hotel. It offers excellent value for the money. The location can't get any better--walking distance to Paddington train station and right across the street from Kensington Park. The neighborhood is quiet and very pleasant. The breakfast, which is included, is very good. We will stay in this hotel again if we should come back to London.
