European chic steps away from the action
My fifth trip to Innsbruck, but decided to try a different hotel in a slightly different neighborhood. I had been to the Penz' breakfast room before when meeting an important guest for a power breakfast and decided to try staying there. Rooms are pretty standard European modern chic. Hotel is five stories. Breakfast room and bar/lounge take up fifth floor. I was on the fourth floor room over looking Adolf-Pitzler Platz, which is a small plaza off the main thoroughfares and adjacent to the Rathaus (City Hall). I had an unobstructed view of the Alps and the roofs of the medieval Old Town. The hotel is next door to a modern "shopping mall" ( although malls in Austria town centers have very little resemblance to American strip centers). Point is there are good restaurants and good shopping literally next door. You are also a three minute walk to Innsbruck's medieval Old Town/Maria Theresien Strasse, which offer even more choices and options. This hotel screams convenience, and it is tucked away on a relatively quiet plaza away from the traffic and crowds. The staff speaks good English, and most notices and literature in the rooms come with competently translated English versions. In other words, their English was much better than my German (something you'll commonly find). Romantic honeymoon seekers should probably go elsewhere.

Amazing Hotel, Incredible Breakfast Buffet
One of the best stays in my 100+ nights in hotels this year. The hotel was well located with a nice size room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing excellent restaurant recommendations. Everything ran efficient, especially the room service. We would head up to the spectacular, not-to-be-missed breakfast buffet and when we would return to the room it would be completely made up and ready. If I had one complaint, it would be that they need to use a cover piece for the gap between the two twin mattresses to join them into a king. I found myself falling into the gap every night until turning sideways.

Very disappointing service
The rooms has no (don't disturb) sings The receptionist was not welcoming at all, and provided misleading info, and made us book another room for additional person while he could provide us with an extra bed, and was rude as well The hotel had a renovation services without sending any notifications. The workers opened the doors on us ( for two rooms of our family) The receptionist wasn't cooperative at all and didn't give us any effort to overcome the situation, only the manager helped us by giving two hours of late check out for one room out of three
