City Gate Hotel, Vilnius

Great hotel, thou aircon system sounded like a stonecruser, the same goes for in room refrigater. Still I would book agene depending of my needs for work

The only positive thing about the property was it was a 5 minute walk from the city gate old town. The free breakfast was not so great and cutlery was not clean.

Hotel is set back from the main road so it is quiet. Walking distance to old city of Vilnius and major tourist sites. Good breakfast buffet. Helpful staff.

We loved the location —near the Gates of Dawn. It is very accessible to all of our interests via walking in old town. Our room was very comfortable. Nice breakfast too.

I really liked this hotel. I stayed on the fourth floor, which people have commented may be inconvenient to arrive at, but for me it was not a problem. Everything was nicely updated, and the bed was comfortable. I liked the pancakes at breakfast, too. I wish the blinds in the room were less transparent, so that I could keep out the daylight in the early morning, and I wish the doors were more sound-proofed. I wanted to sleep past 8 am one day, but it was impossible with the noise of the vacuum in the hallway and the loud chatter of people.
