No frills hotel, however the hotel is beautifully maintained,clean rooms, excellent staff and great place for the price...I unknowingly booked a room without a television however I learned that my cellphone and laptop were more than adequate with thier strong WIFI. The hotel is located within a 10 minute walk to the Zócalo and the other many places of interest. Would return to the rustic, beautiful hotel!

I would recommend this hotel just for the location. A quiet tree line side street in the historic district but in the middle of everything. Not only does it have location, it is a charming building, with a pleasant shared courtyard. The staff was gracious, and helpful. Breakfast was good and tea and coffee service all the time. We really enjoyed our stay here. We prefer small, boutique-style hotels with architectural character. The location, in easy walking distance (25 min) of much of the historic center of Mexico City, was ideal. The rooms were very clean and well kept. There was an expansive Mexican style breakfast included in the room rate, filling and varied. Most importantly, the staff are efficient, courteous, and extremely kind. They deserve a daily tip every day!
