Great location, but no frills property.
The Flat NYC is no frills, but in a good location right off of Madison Square Park. The room was bare bones. A bed, a small table with a chair and a TV. We had a suite so the bathroom was not shared like other rooms at this property. Again, no frills. The water was hot, but the bathroom was extremely small. Like touch the shower and sink from the toilet small. The room did not feel clean. The linens were laundered, but there was dirt in the hard to reach places around the bed. When I asked for additional towels since 2 were staying for 3 nights, the friendly housekeeper handed me 2 towels but said not to tell anyone. This struck me as odd.
