Not what I thought it would be!
Comfortable bed but no ceiling fan or air conditioning in warm climate Internet worked well but No TV The staff was friendly Next door to adult movie theater I was thankful for the bed. Breakfast was coffee and muffins pretty sparse! If you are expecting real food or any kind of spread at all. Only 7 minutes to bus/train station and good pizza down the street.

Okay budget hotel
Pros: Free breakfast (although it's barely a breakfast) cheap and pretty clean rooms. The interior decor was overall very cute. Stella was somewhat helpful and kind. Cons: no AC or fan! Because of this, we had to sleep with the window open, which let in many bugs. I woke up the next morning with four bug bites on my legs. I'm only assuming that the bugs came from outside. Additionally, Stella is a warm but loud person. On more than one occasion I was trying to sleep and was woken up by Stella talking to guests or arguing with someone ( I assumed her husband but I don't know). Also the street outside was a little loud but not too bad. The location is nice and close to termini metro and station which is great-- but the hotel is above an XXX movie theater so don't bring your kids here. Overall, it was a step above a hostel, but not a giant leap above a hotel.

We staid for two nights. First, it's not a hotel. And not even B&B how we understand it in US or Canada. It's just an apartment where 4 or 5 rooms are set to accommodate guests. Shared bathrooms (for all guests and owner). So, do not expect any amenities of a hotel. No air conditioning in a room. Bed/pillows are very basic and not comfortable. We didn't try TV (old and very small), but it looks very unpromising. "Free internet" didn't work ("limited connection"). Building is on a busy street, so be prepared that it will be very noisy at night (at least in 3 rooms). Oh, and at about 2 a.m. garbage track comes every night to pick up garbage from a bin, which is directly below windows. Do not expect anything from breakfast (coffee and some kind of small packaged croissant). We skipped it on a second day. The only positive thing is a location.

Noise is the problem
If you want to have a good night sleep, think again. The street outsides the apartment buiding (Stella's House) is very busy and noisy at night. You hear noise even with windows closed. but if you are a heavy sleeper, you are ok. Also, no air conditioner, I don't know if it's needed in Rome in the summer. Lastly, you probably need to buy your own breakfast even though they claim that breakfast is included. There's something to eat, just not enough.
