Skiing from the hotel
We went to KAtschberg to ski and not to have any other worries (like where to dine). Falkensteiner Club Funimation is All-Inclusive so it fitted perfectlly. any you can skii right out of the hotel. We were without kids, but could see that they would have a blast staying here. So next time we will probably return as a familly.

Hotel OK, ski school disaster
Hotel itself is ok. Rooms not large but well furnished and maintained. Food plentiful and diverse, but not the highest quality. Location is good right on ski slopes. Falkensteiner ski school should be avoided - it is basically baby sitting on snow. It is run on cheap with amateurish and unmotivated instructors. Only the absolute beginners will get some instructions. Kids at any other levels are simply led around slopes without any instructions.

Good for family with small children
Hotel has a lot of things to do for small kids, and that's what it is - family hotel. If you have bigger kids, like we do (8 and 15), you'll pay a lot of money for services you will not be using. There is a huge difference between rooms, so if you're already spending that kind of money, add couple hundred euros and have a nice room, because cheapest (only available at the time) is really far away from any comfort.

Schiurlaub Katschberg
Es war super. Der Zugang zur Piste ist perfekt, der Spa Bereich ist sehr großzügig gestaltet. Das Essen war gut, reichlich und abwechlungsreich. Das Zimmer war klein und leider zu warm (Nachhaltigkeit?) obwohl die Heizkörper komplett abgedreht waren, sodass man in der Nacht nicht gut schlafen konnte. Eine gekippte Balkontür war bei -20 Grad Außentemperatur keine Option.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und werden sicher wiederkommen. Einziger auffälliger Punkt, war dass das Wasser in den Bädern für die Linder zum plantschen fast etwas zu kühl war. Könnte aber auch an der aktuellen Energiekrise liegen.

Alles in allem ein super Hotel um ein paar Tage dem Alltag zu entkommen und sich in der Sauna sowie auch im Spa Bereich mal richtig zu entspannen. Die Verpflegung sowie das All-Inklusive Angebot ist sehr lobenswert und mehr als ausreichend. Hier findet jeder etwas passendes zu trinken und auch ausreichend zu essen. Das auch Kinder vor Ort sind sollte man akzeptieren, da auch für Kinder super Angebote gegeben sind und diesen auch nicht langweilig werden wird :). Vielen Dank an alle Angestellten für das rundum Sorglospaket. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder zu Euch.
