Solo traveller in Innsbruck
Absolutely first class. Only needed a one night stay and found the Golden Crown on Hotels.com. Good price, very comfortable room, nice and cosy (it had been 5 degrees during the day), friendly staff, lovely breakfast. What more can i say other than i would have no hesitation in staying there again in the future.

Pleasant stay
The hotel is very central to the old town and a short walk to the train station. Although the check in times are stated i.e. 07:00-11:00 then 15:00-19:00 having a flight in the middle of the day makes it akward because you can't leave your bags, the hotel is unattended. Staff are friendly, basic breakfast but good enough (not good for vegans). Rooms are decent size but decore a little dated and dark. Comfortable beds and a good shower. On the whole it was a pleasant stay. 7/10

Since we were traveling with a lot of baggage the elevator was appreciated. The breakfast area was well replenished when a product was no longer avalable . A great budget hotel with breakfast included was good value for money. THe only improvement would be to have reception open between 11 am and 3 pm.

Location would have been great if only they would not have emailed us only 10 min before they closed to propose leaving a key while we were train hopping to get there. then no way to get access to our room or even to open the front door at 22:00, so we were alone with a young child in the dark waiting on the street in a foreign town. we ended up to rent another hotel 20min walk away in dark poorly lit streets. just because they could not have been bothered to let us know in advance the check in procedures. 10 min before closure is NOT what i expect from a professional hotel.

We were very happy here (1 adult, 2 kids) in a triple room. The hotel is old fashioned but clean and comfortable. The bathroom felt like you were in a ship, in a weird way. Breakfast was simple but good and plentiful (coffee, milk, juice, hard boiled eggs, breads, meat, cheese, jams and spreads, cearal, and yogurt). Note that the hotel reception is only open in the morning until 11 and then again for 3 to 7, so you can not store you bags to collect outside those house. There are cheap lockers at the train station. The hotel reception has umbrellas and electric kettles to borrow (no tea/coffee facilities in the room). Great location close to the center.
