Nice and friendly, but pretty far out of town
The hotel is nice and the staff is extremely friendly. The bed is really firm, so hopefully you look for that. It is located on the outskirts of Rome. You have to walk to the train, take a train to the Metro and take the Metro into town. It takes about an hour, when not rush hour.

Decent Stay, easy drive to the airport
We stayed here one night before flying out of Rome. It was a fine hotel and an easy drive to the airport. I'm not sure I would stay here at length for visiting Rome. The hotel was fine and well priced, but not too much to do in the neighborhood. The service was great, breakfast was good and there was off street parking.

Not in Rome
Be very careful booking this hotel if you are not driving or if you are traveling by public transport with luggage. This hotel is very far from the city. If you are coming from the City center you have to take two trains and the nearest train is several blocks away. We made the mistake of trying to get here after nightfall and had to take the Metro and then a regional train. We exited the station through the back entrance with leads to a dead end. Even after we got out at the correct exit/entrance we still had to walk down a poorly lit street to get to the main thoroughfare which was several blocks from the hotel. From the street, the hotel looks a bit scary but once the cab driver (which were lucky to hail down) took us in through the side alley it was okay. Breakfast was good. But like I said, its several blocks from the train station. I even ruined the wheels on my luggage walking to the station from the hotel. Get a map and prepare yourself before booking this room.

Loved it!!
I went there with my 2 kids and thought it was just excellent! The place is spotless, the staff is very helpful and kind, even took us to a local festival in their own private car. The town was peaceful and very friendly just a short bus ride from Salerno. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Hotel was outside the city of Rome and required a decent amount of transportation, about a 10-15 min walk from hotel to Roma-La Storta station, and a 30 minute train ride into San Pietro (Vatican and St Peter's Basilica) 40 minute train ride into Termini (catch the subway there for Colosseum). Room was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. Great value.
