Palazzo di Valli, Siena

It was beyond my expections. The Villa is perfect, small, beautiful, and great location overlooking the Tuscan countryside and the city. Very quiet, free parking and a great staff. Very relaxing. Views of olive trees, grape arbor, and gardens all very inviting.

I have never, in 15 years of tons of travel, experienced better customer service. From the late check-in and help parking, to the concierge who (despite his perfect English) spoke with me in my poor Italian, to the guy who called ahead so I could find late-night cacio e pepe. Seriously wonderful. I stayed in a single, so slightly less glamorous room, but it was impeccable and the hotel itself is gorgeous with a stunning view of Tuscany. It's a 10-15 minute walk to city center, super safe and easy to navigate. This place met every requirement I had. Also good cappuccinos!

Wonderful stay. We were there only two nights and did not want to leave. Hope to come back.

The total experience was great. The location is just far enough away from the Siena that it feels like you are out in the countryside

This was a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and spectacular views. They had a very nice breakfast buffet. The mini-bar prices were incredibly reasonable. The staff was so helpful and patient with our questions. We loved sitting on the terrace, enjoying the views, and drinking wine. They say it's a 20 minute walk to the center of Siena - absolutely true for my husband who is super fit and athletic. Took about 45 minutes for me as it's a rather steep hill and there's a lot to see. However, they do have bus tickets at the front desk that are very inexpensive; buses are frequent and will get you to the city center in about 3 minutes. This was a beautiful hotel and we had an incredible experience there. Can't wait to visit again! Will stay longer next time.
