Great place to stay!
This was a great hotel. A bit hard to find, but nice location, clean, roomy (we are a family of four and they enjoyed the bunk beds!), nice large balcony with a beautiful view and awesome swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub. Check in staff were efficient, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend!

Great village, great hotel.
Great location with a really good view. The hot/wet saunas were great after a day of skiing. The lift is about 250m down the road. The buffet food for both breakfast and dinner is what really put this place over the top in our opinion. The raclette dinner was superb, as was the service. Management is pretty clearly on top of things to make sure the details are attended to. My daughters loved the dining area, including the cows in the ceiling. My wife and I like the woodwork and the copper in the dining area. We will return. They even have a bibliotek (library) for guest use. Now, I want to try going back for a summer stay. If you are driving, be ready for a lot of switch-backs on the road heading up to Leysin.

A quick trip to a magical village
We had one night to visit Leysin, where I attended high school in the 60's. The town has changed imperceptibly, and so remains magical... The hotel was very Swiss...clean, efficient and beautiful views. My only comment would be for a coffee maker in each room..or at least free coffee in the lobby. Otherwise, though not luxurious, a very fine stay.

Quiet and peaceful
we stayed in the apartment section for 2 nights. We were supposed to have 4 single beds. I have 2 teenagers-1 daughter and 1 son. One bed was a pull-down from the wall and the bedroom had 2 twins pushed together. Good luck doing laundry. The washing machine and dryer combo is horrible. Clothes are held hostage for 3 hours ( you can't open the door ). The contraption is supposed to wash and dry in one unit. It does not. The clothes come out steamed and require being hung up all over the apartment to dry. On the plus side we had a beautiful view from our private balcony. The village of Leysin is nice and worth the effort to get to. The hotel section would be a better bet for accommodations. If you do need an apartment, specify the bed configuration and ask about the laundry service. A Laundromat may be a better option if all apartments have this strange machine.
