New hotel, new room!
New hotel, new room, great staff and comfortable room! Parking is okay but you have to pay, a lot and the neighborhood is not the best . We actually went to walk to a restaurant and found a bad neighborhoid by the metro that was a red light district. On the plus side, If you are using the metro its right there. Construction woke us up during the week next doir. I suggest they put im a fulltime restaurant for their guests.

Spend a few extra bucks and stay to the south.
Front desk clerk was always in a back office and would not come out when we came and went. Breakfast buffet was always laid out nicely but at around 15 euro, I never saw anyone eating it. There is a red light district one block to the north and always guys just kinda hanging out on the street. I could not find any restaurants or convenience stores in the vicinity. Room was updated and clean, however the contractors did a horrible and cheap job when doing the renovations. The shower leaked water from behind the wall some wear into the bed area along the floor. The bathroom walls were out of square and made for some interesting finish and trim work for the the square counter top and fixtures. There honestly was nothing really wrong with the hotel. But there just wasn't anything really right with the hotel either. If I could do it again I would spend a little bit extra money and have stayed about 1/4 mile south towards The Grand Place. There were two very nice hotels that we walked by each day there were only a little bit more money per night.

Nice Hotel close to Gare Bruxelles Nord
Nice hotel. Just a ten or so minute walk from the Gare Bruxelles Nord. Room was nice, small bed, but was super cozy to sleep in. Nice desk with a chair too.

Room was shabby. Walls were dirty and the bed furniture was frayed and in poor condition.
