It's a nice Hotel for the money.
I have a good stay, just for one night and the front desk gentleman was very nice and even held my luggage while I went to go find my apartment with out dragging my luggage through the metro.

Safe, convenient budget-friendly stay
It was just as good as I needed it to be for the price and the location. Very convenient to metro via the Port D'Orleans station on the 4, which is a convenient line to get to Ile de Cite and all the major sights/sites. The staff was friendly and spoke English. I would recommend this as a budget-friendly, conveient and safe place to stay in Paris.

tiny, worn, but friendly
Rating this hotel is difficult. It's in the 14th arrondissment, a wonderful neighborhood, just steps away from the best bakery in town and a station on the city's best metro line (#4 -- it connects to all of the 13 other lines). That station is second from the end of the line, but the Metro is pretty fast, and several adjacent neighborhoods are charming, including Denfert-Rochereau and Parc Montsouris. The staff are all friendly and accomodating. But the rooms are VERY small, the carpets should have been replaced a decade ago, and the bed wasn't really comfortable. Ask for a shower rather than a tub; deep tubs are tough to get in and out of. So you could do worse, but despite the staff, I would spend an extra 15 euros a night and get something better in the 14th.

Newly renovated room was clean, warm and modern. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel is being totally renovated so chaotic in reception. Completion due by Easter I guess.
