I don’t recommend
The only positive thing to say is that the location was good. The room was tiny. The bathroom was terrible. Tiny sink, no hot water for sink. Rain shower had low water pressure. The hotel only has tiny steep stairs that are dangerous to climb carrying a suitcase. It cost me $245 cad and wasn’t worth even $50 in my opinion. Don't stay here.

Check which room you are booking
Hotel was ok for the price, however we had the very top room which you have 4/5 flights of stairs that are very steep. This room I do not recommend. Amsterdam was great apart from the rubbish on the streets. I’ve never seen a place so dirty

I couldn't of picked an easier property in proximity to the Centraal rail station.... I have a visual condition that can make traveling a little more challenging and this property was a breeze to walk (200 yards?) from the station to the front door. The only issues I had were that it was super cold at the time I was there and being an older property the heating system was struggling to keep up. I know they are having an energy crisis in Europe, so I had to let this go as I know it is not completely the hotels fault. The noise outside on Damrak didn't settle down until nearly midnight which made it difficult to turn in early... Either way, this is a very decent property for the price and location and everyone was super friendly. I would stay here again.

Convenient to public transportation and main train station. One drawback was that my room what near the receptionist area, and being very small, I heard all the loud talking, and I come and going, and especially the coffee machine going on and off during the middle of the night, other than that, I was pleased and satisfied with my stay and Amsterdam!
