Nice hotel
Hotel was across from the beach and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was quite good. There was not too much to do nearby but the staff helped to plan activities and book transportation

Good location by a beach. I am a digital nomad and the WiFi didn’t work…and I didn’t find this out until I arrived. Shouldn’t advertise free wifi if there is none. The driver who works for the hotel is excellent, though!

Marianna at reception was so very welcoming and helpful, I feel guilty saying the best thing about Scorpios was the SUNRISE... Despite another review stating the beach was not public access, it was not more than 2 minutes (500 steps?) from this quaint property across a non-busy two way street, lined maybe with 3 - 5 restaurants (with a dog or cat sometimes). All we needed informal charm and utility of kitchenette we did not use but for leftovers. Will return there if ever back on the island and do not need to be in tourist-packed many staired area.... alternatively could retire happy (or quarantine, may God forbid) given the space, location, and ammenities - pool and bar seemed nice but did not experience for self.

Breakfast was good! That's the only thing. Minimal housekeeping, if you wanted more towels, it is only during housekeeping hours which is in the morning. And they get annoyed when Americans ask for more towels since they only leave one in the hotel room. Location/Area was okay. Food in the area not so great. The Monolithos Beach walking distance across from the property was apparently not a public beach. The bus stop is very close to get into town. Every bus route comes in and out of Fira. the hotel management takes commission from shuttle since the night front receptionist said 50 euros (which I heard and confirmed twice it was 5 euro per person) and they told me 55 euros the next day. And it would of been less than 6 euros by bus. But they didn't tell me until last minute. And tried to tell me they charge 40 euros for 2 people when my sister used their service and it was 10 euros per person to the port. Hotel wasn't that clean. There was hair on our bathroom sink and shower stall didn't seem like it has been bleached. A/C wasn't working in some of the rooms. We were a group of 8 people by the way. I would of rather stayed elsewhere for the price I paid for even if it was a longer commute into Fira to go to other places on the island for tourist activities.

Ok, basic accommodation
We booked this apartment for 3 adults (mum, dad, teenage son of 19) and 1 child (daughter of 16) assuming from description and booking that the "children" would have beds, they were actually sofa beds and as both are tall it was impossible for them to sleep on them as restricted in length. We ended up putting the mattresses on the floor. The air conditioning is only in the main bedroom. The bathroom has obviously been recently updated but the kitchenette is quite outdated and minimal utensils. The staff are very nice and helpful. The apartment was clean.

The desk staff was excellent both day and evening. The air conditioning did not work properly and my requests to look at it were not taken seriously. The pool hours were confusing. The sign at the pool stated that it closed at sunset but we were not allowed to use it after 730 PM. The owner made nasty comments about us in Greek not knowing we speak fluent Greek. He is very rude and uses his employees to do his dirty work. The location is not near to anything so recommend a car to see the island.

The receptionist was wonderful. She did a nice job informing us about the island. I didn’t like that they charged us for transporting us to the hotel from the airport. The owner was very rude. He didn’t realize that we spoke Greek. The pool was supposed to be open until sunset and when my kids wanted to use the pool, they closed the pool.
