Convenient and comfortable
The hotel was in a pretty good area of Bordeaux next to some modernist buildings but very quiet and very close to the centre as well as to a big retail centre Meriadeck. there were also a few bus and tram routes in the near vicinity so very good. The hotel itself was small and comfortable. Some of the furniture was quite dated but everything was clean and the on suite bathroom fairly large. The breakfast was quite disappointing. There wasn't much choice. Only warm food was eggs that you have to boil yourself.

Good base camp away from the tourist area
Good base away from the tourist crowd to explore the City of Bordeaux. Short walk to restaurants, excellent pastries, and supermarket. A bit longer walk to the center of town and the river front. The limited free parking is first come first serve and not guaranteed. Very friendly front desk receptionists and an excellent La Petit Brasserie 3 minutes away by foot.

The room was clean, bed very comfortable, sheets good quality, basic amenities, friendly and helpful staff. The location is about one mile to most activities so give yourself 20-30 min to walk.
