Good location but very very basic and noisy
Stayed in a single room on the upper floor. The noise from the street is just unbearable, both the traffic and people talking loudly at the night.I am talking on a 3 nights in row getting people partying and screaming till 3-4 AM. Get ready to purchase your own Shampoo and body wash...The only thing I liked was the location.

cheap stay in London
This hotel is all about location. Great location easy walk to the Victoria train/tube station. The neighborhood is quite and has bars and pubs close bye. When traveling abroad I often stay at cheaper hotels like this. So I don't have unrealistic expectations. Rooms are on the small side, and bathrooms are modern and mostly clean. Breakfast room is very small and if you get their late they stick you in a hut in the back yard. Sometimes there is a line for the bathrooms. Service was great, despite any shortcomings of the property the gentleman working there did everything he could to make us comfortable.

Nice Room
It was a very nice, clean room. They had a hair dryer, a little bit bigger bathroom than the other places we stayed (which it was still small, but nice). Breakfast was very small, not a lot of selection with tiny stools to sit on, but it was still nice).

Poor service, horrible room.
It became obvious from the very first that the owner of this hotel does the absolute minimum to maintain the place. I was expecting a small room, however, in our room the bed filled the entire space And with no closets, this meant we had to leave all of our clothes in the suitcases and then lift them onto the bed in order to open them. The bedding was heavily used - threadbare in some places. The bed itself was very poor - we spent every night tossing and turning due to exposed springs poking us in the back and left with very sore backs. We went 4 days without fresh towels until I was finally forced to leave a note for the housekeeper (whom we never saw) asking for fresh ones. Second, the "free breakfast" is an insult to the word. It is served in a Kitchenette with two very small tables. Breakfast itself consisted of toast, cold cereal, fruit and instant coffee. They should at least be able to offer fresh brewed coffee. In the same room where breakfast is prepared and a few lucky folks get to eat, there was a staff member rinsing dishes and placing them in a dishwasher. Lastly was the service, the hallways are very cramped and it is difficult to maneuver heavy bags through them. At no point were we offered assistance with our luggage. The reception desk was often closed, even during their posted hours of operation. I would advise anyone staying in this part of London to consider alternative accommodations.
