We Would Stay Again
We arrived early and they stored our luggage for us. The room was plenty big with a king size bed. Breakfast was good every morning. Only negative was having a room on the top floor with no lift. However, that is to be expected when staying in a small hotel in London.

Mostly Good
There was a mix-up with our reservation, which was resolved with us getting a nicer, more spacious room with two windows instead of one. One staff member at the desk was very nice and accommodating. The others were perfunctory in their dealings with us. The breakfasts were very nice and those servers were excellent!

Just okay
The service and local area were perfect but the room left a lot to be desired. The hotel claims to have air conditioning however; it doesn't really cool the room. The curtains in the room were partially falling down and the mattresses were not comfortable at all. We could feel the springs. One of the windows had a whole cut in it (for a fan maybe?) which was not a huge problem as we had the windows open to let in some air - since the AC didn't work. The from desk staff as well as the breakfast staff were great!

Perfect stay
I highly recommend the Regency House Hotel. The staff were all super helpful and the location was great. Easy walk to the underground and train stations. Lots of great pubs and restaurants close by and a few blocks from the British Museum. The back garden was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The rooms were clean, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. Bathrooms were a bit small but, we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay!

Room was small but clean. Close to St. Pancras which was what we needed. Noisy street traffic made it tough to sleep.

Lovely stay in Bloomsbury/Fitzrovia area
Great place to stay! Wonderful traditional English breakfast in the morning. The staff is extremely helpful and very hospitable. The hotel vibe is very calm and relaxing all in a very English-style setting. The hotel is in good condition and has a refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom and bedroom were clean. The location is great near tube stations, eateries, grocery stores. Area we walked to: Covent Garden, Oxford Street, West End, Leicester Square, Chinatown, Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square. We loved staying here and will stay here again the next time we are in London. There is even a small garden/patio where you can grab coffee or tea for free and have a little sit-down chat with your traveling companions or just sit out and relax. For American tourists, there is no lift but for us, we didn't mind at all. The staff is very helpful with bringing your bags if you need help with carrying them.
