Chill out out Venice Hustle - near gay beach
I love staying here. I always stay here after the Press Preview week of the Venice Biennale. Its such a chill neighborhood close to the beach(and gay beach). Its always so nice to chill out here. The people who run it are really nice and very helpful and its a decent breakfast all for a reasonable price.

Excellent place to get away from the crowd.
The hotel staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, she spoke english quite well. Breakfast was more than the usual pastry & coffee...it was good and in a nice dining area. This location is on Lido Island, you can take the water bus right to the island and get on the city bus which is included in your water taxi 24 hr. ticket...you just get on bus A and take it all the way to the end of the island to Alberoni Center and you will get off the bus right in front of the hotel. It is an older hotel, but kept up nicely. Great value for the money, especially when compared to staying right in Venice. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant on the same block and also sitting on the seaboard close by...where there is a couple of bars and an ice cream shop. The beach is also in walking distance.

Peaceful location, Great service
We were met by the manager with a map and lots of helpful information on the area. She spoke very good English and was quick to provide anything we needed. The room was upstairs, clean and comfortable with a private bath (handheld shower in a bathtub, but it worked.) Great variety and well presented breakfast buffet of rolls, yogurt, fruit, juices, etc. The 20 minute bus ride to the vaporetto stop and then a boat ride across the lagoon was a little inconvenient if your focus is just time in the city of Venice, but the Lido is great, too, and not too far from all the sights of the city. We would definitely stay there again!

Cozy but further away
We stayed for almost a week and found the stay quite comfortable. The hotel is fairly clean and the staff are friendly. There is a bus stop almost right outside of hotel entrance to get to the water bus stop of lido. Only disadvantage here is that the hotel is further away in lido but we found the bus stop right outside the room helpful. Being in a quieter part of lido the hotel is a good place to relax after a busy day at venice. There is a restaurant and a pub nearby so its not the middle of nowhere! Would recommend the place.
