Our stay at this place was average. We loved the fact that it was walking distance to many attractions and downtown. Otherwise, everything else about the hotel is pretty average. There was no water left in the mini fridge. The cups that were left were dirty. And the room was very stuffy and too small.

We booked this property well in advance and needed to add a third person to the room. They were not able to accommodate us. We asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else and they refused. They said it was pre-paid and non-refundable. We were not happy but accepted that we made a mistake so we booked another hotel that would accommodate three people. After the visit ended, this property sent us a hateful note stating that we were considered no-shows and we would not get a refund. Why add insult to injury? They already refused to give us a refund and then send us more messages saying that they won’t give us a refund. Honestly, they should have given us a partial refund and then rented the room out to someone else. They would have made money and we would have felt happy about not losing $400. A little flexibility would have gone a long way. I would not recommend booking here due to their lack of flexibility and continued hateful emails. You got our money and ruined our time in Florence. Isn’t that enough?
