Overall we were disappointed with this choice. The “hotel” is on the 3rd floor of a larger building. You walk in & go up the elevator to the 3rd (highest) floor & find the “hotel” - They referred to this floor as the first floor. Our room was on the “2nd” floor but the elevator didn’t go to that high.
The room was awkwardly laid out, not much room to get around the bed to the bathroom. The AC seemed to be programmed not to go below 22 (around 72) & the room never went below 80*F - it was very warm. After complaining, we were brought a rickety dirty fan & simply told the AC doesn’t work under 22* The AC split unit was also filthy, I don’t think the filter has ever been changed or cleaned.
Breakfast was decent, they also had a nice rooftop terrace with a view. Cleanliness was ok, only sheets were given, no blanket, & 2 very thin pillows…. It was way too hot for a blanket anyway. It wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t stay here again. Location was ok, about an 8 min walk to Duomo. Staff was very pleasant & helpful.
