Not a bad choice if you get stranded in London.
Clean, nice and ample but kind of smelly room. Air freshener would have improved my stay a lot. Fair breakfast and fair Wi-Fi. Not great but fair. Nice area with plenty of places to eat. Short walk to the Tube.

Could be So Much Better
Rooms were clean and spacious. The woman who worked the front desk had zero desire to be helpful. Wireless internet was often painfully slow. We were without hot water for over 12 hours. Apparently, the hotel doesn't view such things as an emergency, so they allowed the problem to persist until the maintenance mechanic came to work in the morning. Of course the apathetic woman at the front desk came in at 7:00 AM and didn't bother to inform the mechanic until 9:00 AM.

VERY THIN doors; Rundown; Friendly Staff
This hotel was probably a very good hotel several decades ago, but the upkeep was not there. The staff were very nice and accommodating (at all hours too), but this hotel has definitely seen better days. The location is great, less than 10 minutes to Earl's Court and probably 20 to Kensington High Street. Additionally, the doors were PAPER THIN. You heard everything that happened in the hallway, from the loud door slamming all the way to just the door being unlocked with the key card. Very difficult to sleep through.
