Best budget hotel in Venice!
It was way better than what I had hoped. It being a budget hotel, I did not have a lot of expectations. The room was clean, well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities (A/C, heater, drying rack, shower). The front desk staff is limited (only up till 7 pm) but very helpful. They will give you good advice on where to go and what to eat. They also have free printer services so if you need anything printed they are more than happy to help. I stayed there for four days and I couldn't have asked for a better budget place to stay!

An Extremely Unpleasant Experience
I will first say that every issue I detail below was communicated to management after our stay and outright ignored. I have followed up several times & still have only gotten the response that they will get back to me (we are now almost 2 months later). The first room we were given had the A/C break during our first night. Since there is no front desk support overnight we simply did not sleep that night... Our second room down the street also had a broken A/C, leading us to believe that management simply does not maintain their properties well. This was confirmed when we were moved to their third and final building which had no hot water and required repair. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who has a short stay and is not willing to give up a couple days of their vacation for potential issues & moving around Venice to various hotels.

We were there just to sleep before going to the Malpensa Airport. We were warmly greeted, given all we needed for the evening, enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant, and a ate a fine breakfast in the morning. Our room was clean and spacious, bathroom was quite large, and hotel was convenient to the airport.

Close to all of Venice with helpful staff
The location was perfect. We were close to all the popular areas of Venice as well as the overlooked areas such as the Jewish ghetto. We took the train into Venice and the bus out and never had to haul our luggage for more than a few minutes. The ladies at the front desk were super helpful. They spoke English very well and told us where to sight-see without the crowds. We reserved a double occupancy room, but could have easily slept four people. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was on a busy corridor so I was a little worried that the noise of all the people would keep us up at night, but there was little traffic at night. Also, the windows were fairly sound proof. In the morning, we walked for 30 seconds to a nice breakfast place. We were only there for a short stay so I can't speak for the wi-fi, shower, or other niceties. We were just looking for a comfy bed close to the center of Venice. That is exactly what we got!
