Exceptional 10.0
Excellent hotel, central location on a quiet street
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the receptionist shook our hand when we left. On arrival we were given a map and some of the main attractions were noted for us. The day before we left the receptionist checked with us regarding our travel arrangements back to the airport and booked a taxi for us for the airport which arrived slightly early. Breakfast was a more than sufficient continental style one. The room was cleaned and the towels changed every day. The hotel is one street back from the Piazza de Spagna and about a minute from the Spanish Steps. It is walking distance from the Pantheon, the Vatican, Colesseum, Roman Forum, Palitino, Trevi Fountain plus other main attractions and the Metro station. It is only three stops from Rome's main train station. There are restaurants just outside the hotel which is situated on a quiet street. It is a smaller hotel but this added to its attraction. The hotel's location and friendly staff added to the enjoyment of our trip to Rome. If you are planning a trip to Rome I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Exceptional 10.0
Wonderful Stay in Rome!
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Piazza Di Spagna for 2 nights after a cruise. The room was larger than most small hotels we have stayed at in Europe. Very clean. Friendly staff. AC worked very well. Plenty of hot water in shower. Excellent continental breakfast. Front desk arranged for us a flat rate taxi to the airport and helped load our luggage. As was expected before check in time, our room was not ready. They stored our luggage and when we returned late afternoon, our room was ready and luggage delivered to our room. We will definitely stay here again when in Rome. Location is great-near Spanish Steps, many shops and restaurants, and about 5 minute walk from metro.

Exceptional 10.0
We really liked the location of the hotel. It was near the Spanish Steps, yet we did not encounter any of the huge crowds around our hotel. The hotel was also very close to the Spagna metro, only a 3 minute walk. The property was also near a market where we could pick up drinks and snacks. ( The room did have a stocked mini bar which we did not use) The staff were extremely accommodating and assisted us with restaurant reservations and directions. Our room was located on the first floor in the back, hence no view, but it was quiet. Due to the first floor location, we did not keep our windows open at night, even though it was an enclosed courtyard. The one draw back was the VERY small shower. We are both tall people and navigating the space was a challenge. Overall, we would stay at this hotel again. The neighborhood and friendly staff made our trip very enjoyable.

Good 6.0
We stayed here for four nights. The room was nice, bathroom is tight. I loved the location of the hotel but that resulted in our room(120) in the front of the building, on second floor, being very noisy. We could hear diners and music from across the street till late, cars on the cobblestone street and in early morning the recycling truck picking up glass. I know it’s not hotel’s fault, just be aware of your room location. The hotel is responsible for the construction being done in the room next door before 7 am. They did take a small amount off the bill as a result of our complaint.

Very Good 8.0
Can't beat the location! Very easy to find. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was big and bright. The only negatives are the blackout curtains didn't cover the entire window and the bar fridge lit up the room at night like a Christmas tree. Both issues were resolved by strategically placing cushions, chairs, etc. Breakfast was ordinary but a great way to start the day. Would stay here again.
