Away from the core but still very accessible
Decent sized rooms (for Paris). Clean and comfortable, in a clean and calm neighbourhood. This is a plus after being at all the busy tourist sites and wanting a break from all the action. Nice patisserie and fruit store near by, as well as a few grocery stores to pick up essentials. Also right down the street from a metro stop that is on a useful line for getting to a lot of the main sites.

This hotel was a good value but far enough away from the tourist destinations that you must take the metro. The Michel Bizot stop is just across the street and the Visit Paris metro app makes navigation really easy, even offline. So while it might be a long ride, it isn't unpleasant. The neighborhood has a lot of food choices within walking distance and the one night I was out late travelling alone I didn't feel unsafe. The hotel door isn't unlocked overnight but someone is monitoring the desk to let you in. I didn't try breakfast but I wish I had, it always smelled great! For the price, as long as you don't mind the train ride, you can't beat it.

Great hotel, excellent price
We stayed three nights at this hotel, which is conveniently located near the metro. Staff was friendly and spoke English. We checked in and were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the room. We had breakfast the first morning, small buffet. While it was good, it wasn't worth the 10 euros to us. There is a market, wine shop, and bakery all surrounding the hotel. There is also a restaurant across the street and one just a block away (great Italian restaurant, owner is super friendly - highly recommend!). The only problem we encountered was the second night our room smelled of smoke. Someone must have been smoking in their room and it traveled through the vents. My husband was very upset with this as he is sensitive to cigarette smoke. He informed the staff and it did not happen again. The streets are quiet at night, so you can open your windows to let fresh air in. Overall great hotel in a nice location away from center city, but still with easy access via metro. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price!

Live with the locals at an affordable rate!
This hotel is away from the touristy, pricey hotels. No pickpockets either, which were in abundance in the Paris centre. It is in a residential area with a Metro station on the next block -- quick and easy 20-min ride into the city, with an attendant in the station that speaks English. The cab ride from the Paris Node station was 18 euros. Now as for the hotel itself, the lobby was clean and well-decorated. Everyone at the desk were polite and spoke English. There is a charming elevator that takes you up. Coming down, I just walked the winding staircase. The room -- well, mine wasn't anything like the pictures shown.Upon entering I smelled stale cigarette smoke and a whiff of bug spray, so I looked around but didn't find any critters. The wall color was a putrid mint green with mismatched blanket and comforter, but it was clean and the window opened to the street below, which let in a good breeze. It was a great price, and I was only sleeping and showering there, so no problem for me. There is a free Internet station to use, which was beneficial to me as I needed to stay in contact with friends for meeting up. There are two markets to buy food in.. Also a patisserie is next door, and a nice cafe across the street, and a park down the road with rowboats for hire. Overall, because it was clean and the neighborhood was favorable, with ease of city transportation, I would choose this hotel again.

Dont reccomend
Daytime (woman)staff was rude during checkout and seemed to call a taxi that overcharged for a ride to the airport (couldnt help but wonder if it was a setup as she spoke personally to the driver for some reason). Evening staff was courteous and helpful (Man) Room was tiny and uncomfortable
