Est Hotel, Paris
Clean basic family room
Friendly staff, who speak at least a little English. Clean, basic room, with comfortable beds and a small, but clean private bathroom, with toilet, sink, and shower. Tub/shower combo, but be aware the "tub" is pretty small, but suitable for bathing a child, or soaking super tired feet at the end of a long day of walking. Soap and shampoo very very basic, and no conditioner, but fine. Wifi works, there is also a small desk in the room, and a dresser, with shelves. All around nice spot.

Not a good experience
The hotel is on a very loud street and it was in the 90s during our stay. Even with the windows open it was stifling. We were on the 4th floor and the hotel turned off the elevator to save money. It was horrible and we checked out early and went to a new hotel (which was fantastic).

Oui Oui
Nice small hotel in 10th arrondissement. Stayed in a three single bed room which was small but got the job done. There is no AC so people with allergies, seniors, babies may want to avoid. The front desk staff speaks english and was wonderful and helped us make dinner reservations.

Room smaller than expected, small tv and maybe half channels didn't work. But I guess this is the way people live in Europe and other places around the world.Staff was very friendly, and almost every body speaks English.Continental breakfast was for an extra charge which in USA is a giving.
