Convenient and comfortable
This is very close to Central Station. Despite being in a busy, noisy area, the hotel was quiet and comfortable. It offers a very good breakfast buffet to help you get going. The staff was friendly and allowed us to store our luggage. Highly recommend!

Convenient location, Great staff
This hotel is right across the street from the train station so it's super easy to get to, just walk over. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast. The room was small. I travel a lot and I like to see the places I'm in, so I really don't mind a small room. But if you're claustrophobic don't get the twin room. My friend and I had to negotiate how to fit two small suitcases in the room AND be able to open them! But the beds were comfy and clean and we stayed just one night. Since it's near the train station there are plenty of places to eat at nearby, or grab a coffee. Or whatever. The breakfast buffet was great - hot food and cold and the staff was quick and friendly. It was my first introduction to the amazing cheese to be had in the Netherlands. Yum! If you're looking for no-frills but want some comfort and convenience, this is your hotel.

Eh no.
I came here to stay for a night after an eight hour flight from Illinois, and to be near the train station. It was fine at first, but when I got to the room I felt that it could have been cleaner. The sheets and blankets seemed like they had been slept on and not cleaned, and that's probably the one thing you would want to be clean in a hotel. The booklet in the room said there was 24 hour room service, and when I called they gave me some weird excuse and said room service was closed. This was unfortunate because it was too late to go out and get something (being a young girl by myself, didn't want to go wandering around late at night). But I was starving, and had counted on room service for food. Ended up having to eat chips and a candy bar out of the mini bar! Anyway, it was okay only because I was so thankful to have some quiet time to myself, I probably would have been okay with sleeping in a cave. But for a hotel experience where I paid $90, not good.

Lived in the Hotel for 4 nights. Excellent location to wander around Amsterdam. Everything at walking distance. Rooms were clean and daily house keeping services were good. Staff was very friendly and polite. Breakfast too was good. Overall an excellent place to stay.
