The location is excellent! The staff is helpful. Rooms are small and we had issue with getting air conditioning to work.

Excelent location,,, with a nice bedroom, too tight bathroom , even the room to take shower ( while taking a shower, the shower falls temperature several times in a single bath! this situation is horrible for those who go in the European winter.( but it’s ok). And the hotel receptionist (Raoul) is the most kind and polite person I've ever met in a hotel. I had just 1 big problem .... ROOM MAID. She did not clean my room, just bed and toilette! and for 2 or 3 days, she didn’t appeared to clean it. Besides being rude!

Convenient location
It was very enjoyable and simple. Needed a place that was convenient and comfortable and this hotel was so close to everything. I loved that I could eat alot at the wide variety of cafés nearby and drag myself back to my comfortable hotel bed and unwind with the TV in the room. The staff were very kind, accommodating, and patient. I forgot to bring toothpaste and the front desk lady was very helpful - she went out of her way to search for some. She couldn't find any bd recommended us a supermarket right across the street where we could find toiletries that were a more inexpensive alternative than going to the pharmacy next door.

Don't Recommend
This was my fifth trip to Paris in 2017. This is the only hotel stay I found underwhelming. The bathroom was dirty, with water damage (see picture). Every night when I returned my key didn't work and they'd have to reset it. The walls were very thin, could hear everything going on outside my room. Mysterious stains on the carpet and furniture. You can stay at nicer places for the same price or less. Don't worry about sticking yourself in the middle of tourist attractions, it's easy enough to navigate public transportation and get a nicer hotel elsewhere.

Parts of the hotel are dumpy. The floors were uneven, and I got a huge bruise and nearly broke my hand when tripping over floor bumps before getting used to the irregularities. There was a very annoying sound (intense thumping and whooshing that I heard about 400 times that week) that made sleep difficult, a hard to ID sound that may have been the Metro under the building, a lobby clerk suggested. Very annoying, but at least not too loud. Just so repetitive that when I was already having trouble sleeping, it made it much harder. There was nothing to keep me from slipping when getting in and out of the shower, and I was quite nervous about breaking my knees or a hip. Where was a plastic bumpy item I could use like the US has everywhere? The tub had very high sides and that made it more dangerous to get in and out of. Also, why the glamourous photo of "The Timhotel" online and then it's a tiny little box that has nothing in common with that picture? A minor matter, but boy, what a surprise.
