Disappointed
Asked to use farthest away lift as others not working. No instruction manual for any of the appliances in the room - eventually got fridge and hob to work. Couldn’t get TV to work - message on TV was to check TV aerial cable was connected - there wasn’t one - reported to reception by phone - someone would be right up - 1 hour later, as nobody appeared, went to reception - advised TV wasn’t working, no alternative room available as hotel fully booked all weekend - accepted offer of a discount. Floor in room’s hall area was visibly dusty and one of the cereal bowls in kitchen cupboard was greasy and had ‘something’ stuck to the bottom of it - appreciate domestic staff have a hard job turning rooms around quickly and as bowl cleaned up with a wash in hot water did not report either of these to reception. Foul smell in the bathroom which cleared the following morning, after we had showered. Mentioned this when booking out - asked if room had been empty, as smell could have been result of dormant drainage - again advised hotel fully booked all weekend and rooms cleaned every day, apologised to us and advised that should we be in the area again and wish to stay there to phone hotel direct and we’d receive a complimentary breakfast. Out of interest, we tried to book a room for the evening of the day we left - rooms available All this said we had a comfortable night and enjoyed our time in Glasgow.

Hotel great! Booking/check re booking poor
Stay in hotels great but check in and difficulty establishing our booking was stressful and disappointing. Staff did all they could but the buck stops with Hotels.com and taking money then another provider getting cash! Total break down in relation to booking
