Well located, design & cozy
The hotel has been almost fully renovated in 2017 and now has a very design lobby and rooms. The only non-renovated part of the hotel was the room where the breakfast was served. Our room was small but great with enough room for a couple, we had a very comfortable bed and pillows and functional bathroom. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and there was absolutely no waiting time for us to check-in. My only disappointment was the breakfast. Even though we didn't expect much due to previous reviews, it was still not very impressive but still did the job for a light breakfast. There were croissants, cold cuts, yogurt, fruit salad, cereal, coffee (not great), one type of tea and jam. Not the most delicious breakfast but it did the job. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it's overall quality and great location (5 mins walk to Grands Boulevards Metro and other stations, close to great restaurants - I highly recommend Richer which is a few blocs away). We would definitely go back.

Short stay in central Paris
Nice centrally located hotel. Lots of shops and nightlife nearby. 10 to 15 minute walk from Galeries Lafayette. Hotel rooms and hallway are a bit cramped, but they've done their best with what they had. Rooms are nicely decorated, and clean shower/toilet. Some rooms have a balcony with view of the SacreCoeur. (Fifth floor, room 55). Best for a short stay in central Paris, for a couple. No parking available. Some street parking, but you'd be very lucky to find a space.

Comfortable Stay at Hotel Mattle
The staff at the front desk very friendly, they slowed us to store our luggage and even provided some food recommendations! The hotel is in a good location near Grand Boulevard, however please be careful when walking back at night.

Paris, city of love
Try and get a room on the 5th floor. It's the only rooms with a balcony. Be aware that the rooms across the street will be seeing you. Friendly service. Poor housecleaning, they just turned our sheets/blanket around without changing. The location is good. Close the cafes and grocerie stores. The subway stations are 5min walk (take them), they are your best way to get around.
