Looking Forward to visiting Paris Again Soon!
First trip to Paris and first time using hotel.com. Was pleasantly surprised overall by the accommodations for a 3 star hotel. The beds had fresh white duvet and linen and were very comfortable. The street was quiet which allowed for a restful sleep. Unfortunately the bathroom needed a more thorough cleaning and fresh paint over the shower walls. Luckily we always travel with alcohol and sanitizer. The lack of drawer or shelf space make living out of ones suitcase necessary however the room is quite small with 2 people and limited floor space. So travel lightly. The front desk staff spoke very good English and were extremely helpful. Our first encounter after a long tiring flight was with desk clerk, Malek and he set the tone with his bubbly engaging personality for a wonderful Parisian vacation. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Paris and this hotel suck.
Why exactly are Parisians so rude. This lace is a pain in the butt all the way around and like most of Paris ridiculously overpriced. Set in the heart of the city right down the street from plenty of food options where there are more Parisians awaiting you to be rude as can be. Pretty bad when everyone's take on the Parisians is the same. Germany and UK both blow Paris out of the water

Very nice front desk staff
This hotel is located close to the Opera metro stop and was convenient to the metro. The front desk staff was very helpful. The room was not exactly like the picture. We had a suite which consisted of a pull out couch and a full bed. Our rooms looked into the courtyard where people could eat breakfast so we had to keep our curtains pulled constantly. They did allow us to check in early which was greatly appreciated. If you are willing to stay a little away from the river, this is a good hotel and the price was fairly cheap for Paris.

Sufficient hotel
We booked 3 nights in New Hotel Lafayette but unfortunately spent only 1 night there as our reservation for the additional 2 nights with three days break in between was not honoured. We were transferred to another New Hotel without our consent. We found out when we arrived from the airport and were told to grab our luggage from storage and transfer, despite the confirmation. The one night we had there was OK, the hotel is clean, the airport shuttle arrived promptly and was arranged by the front desk in no time. The room was small but sufficient. I wish they were more careful about overbooking.

Unpleasant surprise
We booked one night and two more in a few days. The first night was fine, even though the front desk staff was not generally friendly. That was the only drawback for the first installment. They checked our subsequent reservation and said it was fine. Unfortunately 3 days later when we arrived back from the airport we were told we did not have reservation. The front desk clerk was extremely rude repeating that it was not his problem that we were such with luggage in a foreign city without a room. Hotels.com confirmation which we were showing him meant nothing according to the hotel. It was Saturday night and nobody else (management) was available. We were finally transferred to another hotel from the same company where we were given a room on the roof, not even in the regular hallway. It was another new hotel, quite a distance away from the location we had selected. All in all very bad experience multiplied by the extreme rudeness of the front desk gentleman who was refusing everything we asked saying it is not his problem (repeated several times). Do not recommend this hotel because they do not honour reservations.
