Total Rip Off
After a long taxi ride from the airport we found our hotel between two other establishments. Not prominent on the street. When I checked in I was told I had to sign a sheet to pay despite my prepaying the room. We looked forward to seeing the Eiffel Tower from our luxurious room which we paid a premium to get. The view was quite a distance on a very narrow balcony. The room was dirty. Major parts of the wall was not plastered to match the rest of the room. Carpet was torn and dirty. It looked like our small room had some water damage as the baseboards had deteriorated. Tears in some of the wall paper. The bathroom had a tall bathtub which one had to climb over to get into. The tub siding was missing large tiles. The shower area had mold. The radiator is the bathroom had rust at the bottom. The bar of soap was extremely small. One washing and it was practically gone. Screw heads on the floor stuck out of the floor. Our bed mattress was not thick and sat on a wooden platform. We did complain to the management and was shown another dirty room on the main floor with no view. We booked for three days but left after one. We were told we had to pay for all three days and they could charge us twice. We left anyway. Would never stay here again and do not recommend it.

Great Location. Air Conditioner. Good breakfast.
We stayed in a triple room with 3 single beds. Room is small by US standards which is typical for Europe. Beds are comfortable. It has great adjustable Air Conditioner which apparently is a luxury in Europe as well. I am booking hotels in Lucerne, Switzerland right now and it's hard to find the one with AC. Hotel is outdated but has everything needed. Furniture is probably 20+ years old. Had really old radio/alarm clock in a room. Bathroom was updated. Looks better in the pictures than in person. Good breakfast with cold cuts, salmon, yogurts, ceareal, coffee machine. Upon arrival my room wasn't ready and cleaning lady was cursing front desk out and yelling on top of her lungs (luckily in French so my kids didn't understand). It was interesting experience. I asked for free breakfast to make up for check in experience and they agreed. They also were very gracouos to hold my luggage overnight which I really appreciated. Interestingly street is busy during the day but gets pretty quiet at night so no street noise. For the same price of 300 USD I got an apartment for our 3rd night which was 5 times bigger but didn't have AC and could not hold luggage but gave us Parisian living experience. Something to consider. Location is great. In Latin quarter across the street from luxembourg gardens. 20 min walk from hop on hop off busses and boats. Honestly you can stay anywhere in Paris as long as it's safe area as public transportation is very well connected to all parts of Paris.

Overcharged for an Inferior Room
When I booked on I chose twin beds and a room with a balcony. A couple of days before we arrived I got an email from the hotel telling me that to get twin beds I would have to upgrade to a superior room and pay an extra 20 euros per night. I wasn’t happy about this but said okay. The “superior” room we got was nice and remodeled but very small. But then for our second night they moved us to a room that lacked a balcony and that wasn’t remodeled. When I checked out I told the clerk I should not be charged an extra 20 euros for the second night as our room was not a superior room with balcony. The clerk said he could do nothing about and that only the manager could so we paid and left.

Fantastic location, amenities and close to RER
This cute little hotel turned out to be a great choice for a too-short stay in Paris with my husband and his older parents. It is just across the street from a Metro/RER station. It was only 10 Euro each to get on the train from CDG. It has an elevator (VERY SMALL), decent sized beds (queen for our family who are all tall), lovely air conditioning, a lobby computer and charming views from our windows. We even discovered we could see the Eiffel Tower with a bit of a lean out of the window! The Jardin de Luxembourg are across the street. The Seine and Notre Dame about a five minute walk away with tons of FUN places to have fondue/raclette, escargots, frog legs and more typical French food. The breakfast in the hotel is pretty pricey and there are many, many boulangeries, pattisseries, bistros, bars, etc. all over within less than a block from the hotel and more as you head towards the Seine. Bring a European adapter for charging or plugging in. Very few places in Europe offer standard American plugs. Our bath had a nice shower, my in laws had a shower/tub. No room for extras in our "Premium" room. I believe they have larger rooms if you had kids. We took a Hop On/Hop Off which SEEMED like a good idea for a general tour with parents who cannot walk much. It was good until we changed bus lines to go up to Sacre Ceour/Montmarte and they didn't inform us that they only stopped there every other time around that route....wasted well over and hour. City Tour/Open Bus company.

The location was good. The front desk people were nice. The property was under construction. There was dust and paint and plaster everywhere. No one even mentioned the construction until the third day when the front desk person apologized. There are basically no amenities. The elevator can only fit one person at a time with a large suitcase. The pullout bed was dirty and had hair and crumbs from previous guests. We didn’t use it. The air conditioning wouldn’t work right. The carpet was dirty. The room was ok other than the cleanliness things I mentioned.
