A great start to a Roman trip
We stayed at this hotel on our first 3 nights in Rome. We were welcomed, greeted, given the tour, super cute, comfy, spacious room. We had the flower room, each has a motif. There is access to a fridge and drinks in the common area if needed. Breakfast every morning was wonderful, coffee with pastries and juice. They bring it to your room at your desired time. The hotel is in a great location as well. Definitely recommend and the staff were sweet and trustworthy.

Great visit!
Loved the location of this property! Having an external bathroom was a bit of a hassle (mainly in the middle of the night!) But we hardly spent any time at the hotel at all! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating! You should know that you check in 2 doors down from the actual hotel address.

Great location for average lodging.
My wife and I stayed here 4 nights in October for a vacation. Overall I would recommend this hotel due to the location, which is fantastic. We had a couple of things that led us to feeling less than amazed by the whole experience. Our room was tiny, which I understand can happen in Europe, but basically you can barely maneuver around the bed. Breakfast isn't included, which may or may not be a big deal but it seems in other equivalents it may, and bathrooms are private but exterior. I actually really enjoyed our bathroom which had a big shower and interesting decor. It a small place and cozy and the staff are friendly enough. If your preference is a good location where all you want to do is sleep then it may be the place for you

Central, convenient but........
I have been going to Rome for longer than 8 years, multiple visits per year. I have heard of Casa Howard for many years but being used to 5 stars, minimal 4 stars hotels I was not willing to give up the uxury. This past weekend I decided to stay in "town" for 2 nights while Rome was preoccupied with the canonization at The Vatican. I was politely greeted and the "guesthouse" is very convenient located, very clean, and I know the area very well. Very quint and "neat", in a very "modernized Roman" kind of way. Unfortunately I I did not realize when I booked my room I overlooked the fact that my room was not "en-suite". It was the biggest corner room, roomier than the rest I have seen in that location, they are all very charmingly individually appointed, and the Filipino help are lovely. Even though Casa Howard provides kimonos and slippers, I had to be in my bed-clothes running into other guests, in the hallway and around the internet point, I felt like I was in a nice university dorm. I wasted a lot of time going back and forth the hallway tip-toeing at night to use the bathroom and wifi because that weekend end, or maybe always the guests were quiet in their rooms by 10/10:30pm, early-sleepers. I would like to try their other location "en-suite" just to see the difference. Stay tune!!!

Great value for money
Great little find in the heart of Rome. For the price we paid it was great value for money. The room was a little small but was very clean and has all the amenities we needed. We didn't go to Rome to spend it in our room and it was perfect for our short stay.
