Not a five star but it works
It was okay, had a shared bathroom which was a little strange but I got used to it. My room was nice enough and clean. Strange location but it had a good sign, the people were nice enough. Not the best stay ever but it'll do!

Good for a few nights sleep.
I was part of a summer program in Tuscany and when it ended I needed an inexpensive hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is good for the price. It is most definitely the next step above a hostel. I did not have a bad experience. If you're looking for a hotel that brings food to your room and has a restaurant and all that, yhis isn't it. However it is a nice hotel. I stayed in a single bed with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was outside in the hall I was afraid of having to wait long periods of time in order to take a shower or use the toilet, but I had no problems. Also my room had a sink in it so I was able to shower and then use my room to shave and do my hair and all that jazz. My room didn't have an AC unit but it did have a ceiling fan. The bed was a little hard for my taste but I guess it's up to preference. I was skeptical about spending the night in this hotel after reading so many reviews but like someone stated in a previous review "if you want 5 star service go to a 5 star hotel" this hotel is definitely a 2 star maybe 2.5. I enjoyed it and would recommend it if you just need a hotel to spend a few nights in. The hotel is on the 5th floor of a building so it's not a building of its own. If you're a "tourist" you have to pay the 4€ hotel tax cash. They do take card for the room however. The breakfast is a store bought chocolate filled croissant accompanied by a small bread for butter or jam. The coffee is amazing! Probably the best coffee I had in Rome. If you have to go out you leav your key at the front desk and there are maps of Rome provided. There are small restaurants and pizzerias near by. There's a great pizzeria and bakery right across from the hotel it's call 3p highly recommend it. I had a pleasant time and I had a better experience than expected.
