Handy for both travel and historic centre of Bolog
Hotel was welcoming and clean. Had had sanitisers by lift and reception, breakfast room. Breakfast was very good. Full range of breads, ham cheese etc and cakes etc and no rush. Hotel was approx 10 mins walk from main station and bus station. Very easy to get to airport on Marconi Express€1.70. Historic centre a 20 min walk. Also hotel was quiet. All in all a good find.

Hotel is basic and a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly enough although breakfast host was quite distant and blunt with customers. Room was clean with a very comfy bed. A little dated décor. Breakfast was great - full of choice and very tasty. Would stay again.

Ten minute walk from the train station and just a bit further to central Bologna. Quiet area and comfy beds for a good night’s sleep. Brilliant shower and clean bathroom. Great spread for breakfast and barista making coffees. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Hotel Astor _ Bologna.
My Son and I popped over for the GP at Imola. This hotel is clean, if a little dated, but the beds were comfy and the shower was fine - for all the time we were in the room. The front desk are happy and smiley and the lovely lady at breakfast, although didn't smile, works very hard and it is appreciated. Our shower had a rubber seal missing so water dropped on to the bathroom floor but even in April, the air-con was nice. The hotel is right under the flight patch for Bologna airport so approaching planes are quite low but there was double glazing in my our room so that was fine too. There is a fridge in the room (not that we used it) but there is no 'do not disturb notices on the door and just a word of warning, the cleaner are just a little bit keen to tidy your room - sometimes even when you are just at breakfast! Breakfast was very continental and there was enough for me and my son - croissants, cereal, bread/rolls and cold meats and cheese slices. There is fruit, yoghurts and boiled eggs! The hotel is located around 10 mins brisk walk to Bologna Centrale train station and a brisk 20 minute walk to the main shopping precinct in Bologna. There is also the city tax to pay and for 2 people for 3 nights we were $24
