Hotel Fiori, Rome
Old Rome
The location of the hotel is it's main benefit. It is very close to Rome Termini (the main train station) and is located in Old Rome with cobblestone streets and all. From this point you can easily reach all of the local attractions (Coliseum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon) within a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel itself is different from anything I am used to. Check in is on the 3rd floor and the entire hotel is contained on that one floor. While small and unique, it is comfortable.

We are accustomed to air conditioning, and the air in our room was not working properly. The ceiling fan and the bathroom fan did not work at all. No effort was made to repair them nor did they seem to care that the cooling was not working correctly. Even though the location was great, I don't think I would stay here again. I believe when you are paying to stay somewhere, an effort should be made to satisfy the customer.

Good for what's needed...
It was a hotel room, pretty spacious for 3 single beds in Rome, with air conditioning and a shower in the summer. A fine breakfast, with cheese, yogurt, pastries, cereal, and a serviced coffee bar. It is in the middle of everything-- we walked all over Rome. There were tons of restaurants in the area. The service was nice as well. The rooms are a little dated, as are the showers. But it all worked and we enjoyed our stay.

good in relation to price
2 days stay ,had to change room after 1st day, first room was really nice [street view, large] second room quite mediocre [bad inside 'court' view, small] ,fortunately was only in the room for sleeping . breakfast better from expected ,got all for everybodys need/taste.
