Hotel Emmaus, Rome
Hotel Emmaus April 18 stay.
This is a very nice hotel. Close to the Vatican, shops and restaurants. The hotel room was decent sized and very comfortable. The elevator although small was sufficient and functional. The staff especially the one assigned at night was very helpful and accommodating. I think his name was Orie. The breakfast was also very good. The WIFI was also functional. Also the taxi stand is just outside the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and even recommended the hotel to friends.

Great location, clean friendly hotel
Hotel Emmaus located 30 minutes from Fco airport is a decent clean hotel located just within a 5 minute walk to Vatican City. There are no shortage of restaurants and souvenir shops along the same road. The hotel offers free breakfast consisting of sweet croissants, fruit, cereal, ham, salami, bread, coffee, tea, cappuccino. Accommodations are pretty basic; bed is decent, bathroom is clean with a very very tiny shower. Americans used to having wash cloths, should bring your own. You will however get 3 big towels and 4 hand towels (which I used as a wash cloth). Tv is small 13 inch but you don't plan on staying in much anyway. Don't forget your European plugs as standard American plugs won't work. I also purchased a portable wifi for $30 at the airport (expressowifi) as wifi around town is iffy. Overall I'd stay here again.

Bathroom was not clean and room was very old, not like the one pictured. Staff was not very friendly. Location was great if you are visiting the Vatican.

Close to St. Peter's Square
We went to Rome to celebrate a special occasion. By using Hotel Emmaus, we had one less thing to worry about.

Hotel Emmaus, Rome
Hotel Emmaus a good deal.
The cost was excellent, considering how close it was to the vatican. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Luckily, it had air-conditioning, because Rome is very hot now.
