Great stay!
The location is so quick and easy to get to the Vatican and St. Peter's Square. Short distance to metro stop. Nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants close by. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great value. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, nice breakfast, intimate hotel
We only stayed three nights. The location was perfect - three blocks from the entrance to the Vatican Museum. The elevator was added after the building was built, and it is tiny - capacity 3 adults or two adults and one piece of luggage. The neighborhood was undergoing infrastructure repair when we were there, but should be very nice once repairs are completed. Restaurants, a small grocery, and nice shops are right around the corner. The building itself looks a bit worn and the furniture is dated, but that adds to the character. There is no air conditioning, just large windows you can open onto a busy, noisy street (if you have an outside room). Best of all, the breakfast was excellent, with cheese, cold cuts, a large selection of fresh pastries, yogurt, and an attentive barista who served coffee, latte, cappucino, espresso...and a large variety of teas. The breakfast room is cozy, but friendly, providing an opportunity to know your fellow travelers.

Quick visit to Rome
I spent 3 days in Rome before joining a tour. The Hotel was a 4 minute walk from St. Peter's, a must see at night.A Short leisurly walk bring you to Castello San Angello. I love to walk so I crossed the bridge and waled to all the sights: Colloseum, Formum, and Fountain of Trevi, which is currently being restored so there is scafolding and no water, but still incredibly lovely. A you MUST thow your 3 coins in the fountain. Hotel staff was charming and multinational. There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance, and alot of pedestrian activity. From my room I coud see the dome of the Vatican. I paid a bit more than I would have liked but I booked late.

Not so happy... Never again
We stayed for 3 nights during this summer and the air conditioning wasn't working any of these days. Hotel staff informed that they are working on it, but 3 nights stay on the hot weather was miserable. Not worth to spent so much to stay in an uncomfortable room after the hectic day tour. The location is perfect and very close to Vatican
