Accommodating staff
The Hotel staff was very accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. As a family of four we were in another building which is a block a way from the hotel. There was nothing special about the apartment as it felt more like a vacation rental then an hotel room. With early morning tours of the Vatican and the Colosseum, we missed out on the breakfast but were able to get a boxed breakfasts to go. Again, always there to assist.

Small charming hotel
Small, clean and comfortable older hotel near the Spanish Steps and the Via Condotti. You can walk to most of the major sites. It has a rooftop bar that is open in the evening as well as a small outdoor patio on the fifth floor, and a small bar/cafe on the street level. Smallish rooms, but typical of Europe, although ours was a decent size with a king sized bed and a couch/daybed and smallish shower. My only complaint was the hairdryer which consisted of a button you had to hold down continuously while drying and not hot enough. One side of the hotel faces the Via del Corso and the other a small street. Both streets don’t have car traffic but lots of pedestrian traffic. Noise could be a problem for some on the lower floors. If you reserve, make sure you ask for the main building as they have another property a few doors down on the Via del Corso that doesn’t have a concierge and breakfast is served in the main building. This is our third stay here.

Snail wifi; too small room/shower.
Pro: really nice breakfast. Nice area. Well maintained hotel. Con: internet so slow (takes 3 secs to refresh a txt page). Shower stall is 3 ft x 3 ft. If you are plus size, you will have part of your body unwashed because that part will stick out. Had a single room. 10 ft x 20ft for $100. Although the area is nice, I suggest you pay $10 more to get a bigger room.
