Would be back
I loved this hotel! I am someone who doesn't usually enjoy staying in hotels, even very nice ones because you can often hear people in the hallway or you hear the air conditioning in the room or other strange sounds. This small boutique hotel was different. We stayed for 5 nights at The Bentley. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and should I be back in London I would definitely stay here again. It is a small, but elegant hotel. The common areas and the rooms are tastefully and elegantly decorated. The room was quiet with no noise coming from the corridor or the street or even the air conditioning, which can be annoying in many hotels. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pictures of the bathroom on the Internet do not do it justice. The room was spacious, particularly for Europe standards, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Upon check-in in our room we were provided with a small bowl of fruit and complementary large bottle of water. As with any hotel the minibar could be expensive and we didn't utilize it. The Wi-Fi is free, you just have to ask the staff for a code each day. As another reviewer has mentioned, the room is equipped with an android to use, which is very handy for international travelers. The location is in a very nice, upscale neighborhood with many cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is a short walk to the Gloucester Rd., Metro Station and a quick trip to many major attractions.

Dishonest Hotel and do not upgrade
The Bentley Hotel in itself is a nice hotel but their management is simply dishonest. This is my first negative review and really more to make potential travelers aware of this shady hotel. I booked my trip thru Orbitz and paid for a King Supreme room or 4 nights. When I arrived I inquired about an upgrade one level up to a junior suite. Same room basically 80 SF larger. I was told by management that they couldn't issue me a credit at that time since I booked thru a third party and not thru the Bentley Hotel. They said they did not know how much I paid for my room but would look into it. I was told the junior suites rate. So I agreed knowing I would get credited for my initial room at check-out. Fast forward to check out, they now said that I would need to get my room credit thru Orbitz since I booked my hotel thru them. This was a change in their story. Get back to the states and reach out to Orbitz who after three attempts finally heard back from Bentley hotel. The hotel is now saying the amount I paid was the cost of the upgrade on top of my room rate. This is a complete lie as you can jump on their website and book the same room for Equal or less than what I was charged. I would stay away from this hotel as no one should have to deal with these deceptive practices. I have started a fraud dispute with my credit card company and will get credited. Lastly, even paying a lot per night, they still charge for Wifi. You can only use two devices per room nothing more.

Advertisement is not accurate!
My 1st and the last stay for sure! To start with I paid for "Deluxe King Room" that was advertised with Separate sitting area.... this was not as advertised. 1 - 1st day I was given a room on the 1st floor near their service lift which meant non stop rumbling of the lift going up and down throughout the night.... front desk was less than helpful. after few complain...I was moved to a smaller room which was their so called "queen room". 2 - they got me to leave my room @12 so they can give that to someone else and I only managed to get my downgraded room after 4PM.... I am a regular visitor to London and have seen both good and bad, but have never felt cheated so badly as "The Bentley London" seem to think once they receive a booking online they do not seem to feel responsible for the keeping their side of the business transaction. Asked to speak with a manger and front desk again replied with a chuckle "we do no have a manager any more" Q - do you mean manager has gone for the day. A - no we currently do not have a manager for our hotel!!!

Horrible stay away
This hotel appears beautiful. But besides looking beautiful it has nothing else. First we get a room that wasn't the way it's pictured so don't choose your room based on that. Then after were in the room changing clothes staff just walks in unannounced. Said he had to check the mini bar. Very disrespectful. Then they put us in an adjoining room the ppl next door tried coming into our room around 4am. We called front desk and they ddnt care said the ppl probably thought it was a closet. The next night the people next door had a party. Playing loud music at like 3am and smoking non stop we called front desk they refused to come up to check it out and said they had a smoking room so it wasn't a problem. Who assigns a smoking and non smoking room that connects. We finally changed rooms and the next room had broken glass and soda everywhere. They don't clean the rooms and have bad customer service save your money and go else where.

Pleasant stay
Overall our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and I particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. The bed however was hard as a rock. My partner slept well but I was left feeling somewhat achy, nice pillows though. However, that's just my personal preference rather than a fault. The room was nice but a little tired, I was expecting quirky and it didn't quite meet my expectations in that regard. The only real downside was the price of the breakfast. It was pretty standard and I was expecting something a little flashier. It was well cooked and service was very pleasant. I noticed they had sofas at some tables that were clearly too low. All the staff were very helpful and nice. I'm not sure I'd stay again but don't regret booking.
