very conveniently located but did not appreciate the noise other guests made coming and going. No frills but adequate for our trip

Hotel close to Eyre Square
The Hotel was fairly nice, but was a little on old side. The rooms was quite large for Ireland and fairly clean. It was a very easy walk to Eyre Square which is close to everything. On the negative side there was a constant problem with trying to use the internet on third floor as it kept going off. Also, in Galway if you want fresh air you open the window and there were gnats that got in and got several bites that are still itching now. Or they could have been in there before. Either way if you stay don't stay in Room 315. Maybe the other rooms are better. The people at the hotel were generally friendly.

The regular rooms are run down and dated. We were switched to a renovated room after the first night and it was very nice and modern. Would stay again if I could garauntee one of the renovated rooms.

Excellent location & friendly staff
The location was perfect, short walk to anything. The staff was friendly & helpful. The hotel is being renovated & about 10 years too late. Stains on carpet throughout. Although renovations were on the 1st floor & we stayed on the 3rd floor, our bathroom looked like it had been renovated within a few years, except for the archaic hair dryer.
