We were treated Ike royalty.
Besides great staff, nice rooms, good (included) breakfast options, above average cleanliness, the overall hospitality provided was truely more than we could have ever expected. This stay was one of the best experiences of our whole trip Vietnam. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. They went the extra mile to make us fell comfortable, every time. We also booked two day trips through the hotel staff (Ha Long Bay and Sapa). The hotel arranged all the tour details as well as the travel to and from, including a hotel staff member to take us to the train station, buy our tickets for us, and later to pick us up in person from the train station to return us to the hotel. They even offered us a room for 2hours to freshen up after the overnight stay, even though we weren't staying with them another night. All this without even asking. Just to ensure we were cared for. They even packed us a boxed dinner to go for our overnight train out. They were really made us feel like we were in the care of a luxury vacation service. It was unreal. The hotel also offers a very good wifi signal and a spa (that we didn't get to use). It's location is optimal, in the old quarter, 3 minute walk to Turtle Lake. Joanna and Filipe

Overall Tranquil Stay
This hotel is near the Hoan Kim Lake with easy access to major sightseeing places in Hanoi City. Although it locates on the busy street not only as a main road during the daylight but a night market site in the evening, we can have a stay at a room because these are secluded on the busy road. Hotel service is overall gerat: welcome drink, travel arrangement, and especially, an advanced check-in of Vietnamese Airlines at the reception desk. The third could contribute to my smooth movement to the next flight after leaving Hanoi. By contrast, as for a restaurant, there are some glasses with a crack/cracks to drink juice or water. That's an urgent improvement!! Room has the tranquil atmosphere with a balcony, and decoration look so sophisticated. Easy to relax, stay calm, and sleep well. I would like to stay the Orient Suite again when I stay in Hanoi.

The friendliest hotel!
I stayed with my elderly parents for 1 week. I really couldn't offer more praise to the staff running the hotel. They really do try their hardest to provide the best service. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful!! The thing is, the friendliness feel real and sincere, not like some of the 5-star hotels we stayed before (those are really fake). The staff of this hotel more than deserve a massive 5-star rating! The hotel is in the middle of Old Quarter (the night market at the weekend is just in front of the hotel), yet surprisingly it wasn't really noisy. Maybe it is because we stayed on the 6th and 7th floors. It is literally about 1 minute walk to the Hoan Kiem Lake with tons of street food around. The hotel is nicely decorated with some lovely touches. The welcome drink with brief explanation of the city, the welcome bottle of red wine, the daily fresh fruits in the room (with knife provided to cut the fruit), a fridge with minibar, and very importantly - The safe in the room for passports and valuable and daily weather forecast. It is also mightily thoughtful of the staff to provide the "brief guide on paper" on how to enjoy Hanoi without falling into some of the usual tourist traps - such as how to cross the road, avoid pesky vendor... The breakfast in the morning is amazing - tons of delicious choices and an a la carte menu - Go for the noodle soup! Do try the restaurant and spa service! We had massage twice! Thank you all again for the amazing week in Hanoi.

Very Good 8.0
Not a big fan of their cleanliness but they take in feedback well and are working towards improving their facilities and service. Service wise, they do make you feel very welcomed and at home. The hotel is located at a shopping street which turns to night market during the weekends. If you are a light sleeper, not advisable to take the rooms with city view. If not, the noise from outside is very bearable, wasn't an issue for us.

Central Hotel with excellent customer service
My husband and I stayed at the Oriental Suite Hotel & Spa for three nights. They are in a very central location in the Old Quarter, close to restaurants and within walking distance to the Hoan Kiem Lake and other sights. What made our stay so special was the staff's attention to customer service. When we arrived they realised I had an upcoming birthday so had decorated the bed with Happy Birthday wishes in rose petals and also provide a cake. They assisted with information regarding our location, local sights and hotel facilities. Staff met us on our arrival and assisted with transporting our luggage into the hotel. They also have an excellent restaurant, the Viet Deli. It is very relaxing for dining and the staff are attentive. On the first night we arrived the restaurant was closing within ten minutes and they remained open so we could have a meal. On departing they provided us with a very thoughtful gift to thank us for staying with them. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if travelling to Hanoi. The Manager personally thanked us for staying with them and followed up with a personal email. We have never experienced this level of service from any hotel in other countries where we have stayed.
