About Hotel Marlowe, Mexico City

Budget-friendly downtown hotel with a restaurant

A walk to the Zócalo

It's a 10-minute walk to the Zócalo, the city's main square, site of the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace, where you'll be able to see murals by Diego Rivera. Next to the Zócalo is the Great Temple, one of the Aztecs' most important religious sites.

Fitness and free parking

Onsite parking is free, and other handy facilities include a meeting room, fitness center, solarium, and steam room. The hotel's unpretentious restaurant, La Bufa, is open every day and serves a breakfast and lunch buffet, as well as à la carte options.

This is perfectly good budget hotel. I so appreciated their great service, good wifi and great price. The electricity went off unexpectedly for over 2 hours though (during the workday) which was not ultimate. the rooms are tiny and there is little bathroom counter space. It worked well for my work travel, but it's not fancy, just be prepared.

Amazing location!!!
I loved my stay at Hotel Marlowe. The location is excellent and within walking distance to the Zocalo (City Square). It is located in the middle of China Town and I was there during Chinese New Year Celebrations, so it was very busy and a bit noisy. WiFi was sketchy, but I was really only in my room to sleep. But, for the price and the location, it was excellent. This will be my hotel choice when I return to Mexico City.

Nice place!
Nice hotel, good service clean rooms and attentive staff. I'd stay there again. However the Internet signal was weak and Netflix on my computer was not an option. Also I would've preferred a room with more of a window .

Our stay at the hotel was great!
Our hotel stay was great. Other than a lot of construction on the streets. There was no hot water a couple of times, and no electricity for about half of the day, several different times. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel, and enjoyable stay.

Great location. Recommend!
Very good location. And although the street outside was under some dusty and noisy renovation the room was very quiet.
